If you are
interested in understanding, doing business with or visiting America, China,
Japan, Korea or Mexico go to the website: www.cultural-insight-books.info
The website features 70-plus pioneer “cultural insight
books” by internationally known author Boyè Lafayette De Mente that can now be
viewed in one extraordinary place. Created by master website builder Doug
LaPedes, the website includes images of the front covers of the books and
detailed descriptions of their content.
On the website
click on the individual Japan, China, Korea, Mexico, etc. links stacked in a
box on the right side of the page to bring up the books, each one with a live
link to Amazon at the end of the description.
De Mente, now a resident of Paradise Valley, Arizona,
authored the first “how to do business in Japan” book in the late 1950’s when
that nation seemed destined to overtake the United States as the world’s
leading economic super power.
He was also the first to use “culturally pregnant key
words” in the Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Mexican languages to understand and
deal effectively with them.
THE
MEXICAN MIND, for example, presents over 100 terms that
reveal the mindset and behavioral patterns of Mexicans.
JAPAN
– Understanding & Dealing with the New Japanese Way of Doing Business! [The
Foundations of Japanese Behavior] details how the Japanese way of doing
business has morphed into a hybrid of their traditional cultural-based
practices and the Western way of doing business and provides guidelines for dealing
with them effectively.
All of De Mente’s books are available from Amazon’s
Createspace publishing division in print as well as digital editions.
